The Embedded Software/Firmware Engineer is responsible for developing algorithms and code for real-time signal processing to include communication and data transfer between system level hardware and embedded hardware. Taking a holistic approach to systems engineering, the Systems Engineer ensures that all aspects of a system project are considered and addressed.

TMPO researches microelectronic applications, CAD tools, architectures, and materials to evaluate the security, trust, and reliability of microelectronic devices and the critical systems which rely upon them. TMPO develops tools and techniques in the areas of assurance, anti-tamper, and reliability for FPGAs, ASICs, SoCs, microcontrollers, and other microelectronics. TMPO employees are Research Faculty of Georgia Tech and have the opportunity for dual appointments and teaching positions with other departments of the university. TMPO is a division of GTRI's cyber security lab which contains 300+ engineers and scientists and represents >10% of the total research award funding at Georgia Tech.
Contract Managers oversee a portfolio of research projects and associated external sponsors. Supports all aspects of multiple Task Order level contract vehicles, and supports GTRI PDs in coordinating contracting issues with Research Administration (OSP). Helps keep internal stakeholders informed regarding programmatic issues. They are responsible for coordinating contract or contract vehicle issues with external sponsors and OSP, including the development of future contracts and contract vehicles through interactions with external sponsors. Assist PI's funded on their contract vehicles in monitoring and controlling the work of producing the products, services or results that the project was undertaken to produce. Success is measured by budget compliance, timeliness, and degree of customer satisfaction. They develop trusted relationships with the COR and/or ACOR and sponsors and also serve in an advisory capacity to critical stakeholders regarding the contractual execution of projects. Must meet all compliance and other requlatory requirements throughout a project's life cycle to successfully close out the time-bound project, program or portfolio

Georgia Tech Research Institute’s Cybersecurity, Information Protection, and Hardware Evaluation Research (CIPHER) IT department is looking for a full time Information Systems Engineer (ISE Security Analyst). Our team performs cybersecurity assessments, hardening, deployment, and operations maintenance for the CIPHER Laboratory. The role of the ISE Security Analyst is to act as the focal point for all aspects of cybersecurity within the CIPHER IT organization. The ISE Security Analyst will design, implement, operate, and maintain IT security systems to protect CIPHER's computer networks from cyberattacks and develop organization-wide best practices for IT security.
The High Assurance Computing (HAC)/Special Secure Computing Division (S2CD) fills the Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) and Common Control Provider (CCP) roles for GTRI Special Programs in accordance with the Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG). S2CD works closely with Research Security’s Special Cyber Security division, GTRI project directors, and lab computer support representatives (CSR) to provide secure computing resources for GTRI projects.

ISSO is a contractually recognized role described in the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual. Advise researchers and Information Technology (IT) staff on Accredited Information System (AIS) to support Government contractual research and delivery.
Branch Manager will provide lead security oversight in accordance with NISPOM (National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual) and GTRI/Research Security policies and procedures. Develop, implement and manage all collateral GTRI classified contracts to provide guidance as required by the U.S. Government to support GTRI contracts and DD254’s.
The Information Systems Engineer develops technical designs and provides support of the organization’s end-user computing environment.
