GTRI’s System Design Division (SDD) within the Aerospace, Transportation, and Advanced Systems (ATAS) laboratory seeks a student research assistant to provide support to engineers during the spring 2021 semester. Duties may include but are not limited to: block diagram/schematic generation, cable assembly, electronics testing, soldering, and writing code.
Required Minimum Qualifications
Student Assistant/Research Assistant
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
- Must be registered for at least 6 credit hours with your university during working semesters
- 3.2 or higher cumulative GPA
- Basic understanding of AC and DC circuits
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Basic understanding of test equipment
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
Hours per Week
20 hours per week
U.S. Citizenship Requirements
Due to our research contracts with the US federal government, candidates for this position are required to be US Citizens.
Clearance Type Required
Ability to obtain Secret Clearance upon hire
