GTRI’s Enterprise Knowledge Management and Assurance (EKMA) Division in the Advanced Concepts Laboratory seeks qualified candidates for the position of Project Support Branch Head. This position involves leadership of small teams, resource management and forecasting, coordination with the Albuquerque Branch and the Base Program Manager, and technical leadership to the program in the form of subject matter expertise in reviewing technical data, document digitization, and oversight of an operations help desk all related to Base Program execution.
The Division Chief is the principal leader and manager of all Division activities, while also maintaining a research role including contributions to sponsored research projects. The Division Chief sets the vision and strategy for the Division, provides oversight and direction for research projects in the Division, manages the personnel in the Division, and maintains ultimate responsibility for all of the financial and administrative operations of the Division. The Division Chief acts as liaison between the Division and Lab Leadership, other Divisions, and the rest of GTRI.
The Solution Architect defines, conceptualizes, describes, and manages an engineering solution specific to the enterprise system. Responsible for understanding the architecture, design, and development of software built for sponsors and running on secure cloud computing networks, specifically focusing on fully automated deployments. Additional responsibilities include understanding how integration with third-party software vendors will impact the system and providing guidance on impact to the enterprise.

The Aerospace, Transportation & Advanced Systems Laboratory (ATAS) of the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is seeking a Junior Collaborative Autonomy Graduate Student Researcher for the Summer 2024 semester.
The Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Engineer works closely with research, development, and testing teams to combine simulation modeling with data analytics in order to provide recommendations to optimize system designs in support of current and future research, development, and testing efforts. Specifically, the M&S Engineer is responsible for constructing computer simulation models, verifying and validating simulation models, performing simulation experiments to predict system behaviors, providing solutions to project stakeholders, and improving systems and processes.
The Operations Research / Systems Analyst (OR/SA) applies advanced analytical and systems engineering methods to support critical decision making. The OR/SA researches, develops, and integrates new and existing system simulation frameworks, prediction models, logical models, and analysis techniques. The OR/SA also models operational environments, performs trade studies via computer simulation and provides decision support for alternative architectures.
The Signals and Systems Division of the Advanced Concepts Laboratory (ACL) is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Modeling & Simulation Engineer with an emphasis in radar and radio-frequency (RF) sensing. The Research Program Manager is responsible both for the oversight of technical execution, schedule, and budget of assigned portfolios. Specifically, the Research Program Manager develops the planning of programs and future projects through routine interactions with stakeholders. The Research Program Manager develops trusted relationships with sponsors and also serves in an advisory capacity to critical stakeholders defining the technical direction of projects and technical thrusts.
The Software Engineer designs, develops, and tests software applications and products. Additionally, the Software Engineer manages software development teams, provides technical leadership, and establishes software development lifecycle practices and processes. The Software Engineer is proficient in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, C, C++, C#, Ruby, Python, Scala, and Groovy.
The Advanced Research In Computing and Artificial Intelligence Division (ARCAID), part of GTRI/ICL, is seeking an artificial intelligence or machine learning research leader to head the Applied Artificial Intelligence Branch. This individual will be responsible for mentorship of Branch personnel, fostering early stage AI/ML application research, and collaborate closely with data science and computing groups in maturing concepts to sponsor applications.
