Program Management Student Assistant - PMO - Fall 2022

Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is seeking a Program Management Office (PMO) Part-Time Student Assistant for its Mission Assurance Branch for the Fall 2022 semester. The Student Assistant will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, delivering, tracking, and inventorying critical parts. This may include coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and engineers, as well as other elements of the parts handling process and supply chain risk management processes.
This position allows for the opportunity to learn about government standards and regulations as related to supply chain, parts handling, and quality assurance requirements, as well as develop and implement processes across the program, lab, and potentially the organization. This position will require someone with exceptional organizational, coordination, communication, and customer service skills.
This position will require in-person attendance at the Cobb County Research Facility (CCRF) 3 days a week or more, as well as the ability to handle and deliver parts.
Required Minimum Qualifications
Student Assistant/Research Assistant
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Business, or related fields
- Must be registered for at least 6 credit hours with your university
- 2.0 or higher cumulative GPA
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to clearly communicate with suppliers, vendors, and team members
- Customer Service Experience
Hours per Week
10–20 hours per week

Due to our research contracts with the US federal government, candidates for this position are required to be US Citizens.
