GTRI's Applied Systems Laboratory (ASL) conducts applied research, development, test, and evaluation of ground-based air and missile defense and rotary-wing aviation systems. The Applied Systems Laboratory (ASL) is currently seeking Interns to work in Huntsville, AL on software development or systems engineering on a variety of defense programs. Will work as part of a team to add value to customer deliverables. The selected candidate will be applying Agile Systems Engineering processes and methodologies to develop Systems Models in support multiple projects.
This position is a research faculty role in the Digital Engineering Branch (DEB) within the Applied Systems Laboratory (ASL) at our facility in Huntsville, AL. This position will perform sponsored research which applies digital engineering (DE) methodology to produce airworthy (DO-178), modular open systems approach (MOSA) enabled avionics solutions across a wide a variety of defense programs related to Future Vertical Lift (FVL) and Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS).
