Job Description

Support the GTRI COSFO with IT support involving troubleshooting general issues such as internet connections or audiovisual equipment connections as well as configuring any new or existing equipment needed by the team at COSFO. Maintain an accurate record of the current IT inventory within COSFO. Identify any gaps in the IT equipment inventory and assessing new requirements needed for GTRI as they move to the new office location. Provide general administrative support for the team at GTRI such as replying to/sending out emails, organizing meetings, or completing clerical work as needed.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Intern

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 2.0 or higher cumulative GPA
  • Part-Time Intern– Must be registered for 6+ credit hours

Preferred Qualifications

  • Task/team leadership experience
  • Experience troubleshooting and managing IT equipment
  • Strong understanding of IT concepts, security practices, and equipment types
  • Configuration management tools
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas

20 hours per week

U.S. Citizenship Requirements

Due to our research contracts with the US federal government, candidates for this position are required to be US Citizens.

Clearance Type Required

Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain an active security clearance.
